A few of the basic steps I go through...

My little shop with a few basic tools.

Belt sander, Wilton grinder, vise, Panavise, drill press, and wood cutting bandsaw.

Baldor buffer, Milwaukee metal cutting bandsaw, trolling motor (just kidding)!

Blades have been cut with bandsaw, drilled, and name stamped.

Temperature depends on metals used in blades.
Oil or air quenching, depending on type of steel.
